The Lutheran General Patient Care Tower is a 10-story, 384,000 square foot new building. The medical areas in the new building will include a 15-bed PICU, 24-bed MICU/CICU, 10-bed Interventional/Surgical Step Down Unit, 34-bed Surgical Unit, 34-bed Oncology Unit, 34-bed Neurology /Stroke Unit, and a 26-bed Mother/Baby (postpartum) Unit. Services rendered by WCG include medical equipment budgeting and equipment specification.
