The Walsh Consulting Group is a professional services firm located in the northern Chicago suburbs specializing in medical equipment planning for the healthcare industry. The firm’s consultants work with the country’s premier healthcare providers and leading architectural design firms.

Walsh Consulting is currently seeking a associate level, Medical Equipment Planning Consultant to join our expanding practice. The ideal candidate will have previous medical equipment planning experience, be degreed, and possess a broad-based understanding of medical equipment technologies and how they are most appropriately utilized. In addition to consulting experience, 5 to 10 years clinical or operations experience within a hospital is also required.

Healthcare professionals without consulting experience (i.e., hospital based purchasing agents, biomedical engineers, nurses, etc.) will also be considered if they have a strong understanding of medical equipment and the potential to acquire consulting skills.

A Bachelors degree. Computer knowledge is mandatory with database and Revit skills or knowledge are a plus. Some travel will be required.
